The Green Belt Invitational at Olveston Historic Home

This coming spring, over the months of September and October, Olveston will be hosting a specially curated exhibition.

20 years on from SAM FOLEY's first Dunedin solo exhibition - he has invited around 20 local and nationally-based artists to respond to Dunedin’s town-belt, the same subject that inspired his inaugural show.

Artist's include - Sam Foley, Al Bell, Michelle Chalklin-Sinclair, Anya Sinclair, Inge Doesburg, Sharon Singer, Mark Doesburg, Pete Wheeler, Michael Greaves, Jonathan Cumming, Matt Gauldie, Steev Peyroux, Anna Perry, Guy Howard-Smith, Angus Collis, Philip Madill, Peter McLaren  & others.

FRIDAY 5th SEPTEMBER - there will be an opening night party -  there could not be a more appropriate venue to explore what will be a diverse and varied creative investigation of Dunedin's civic conservation heritage.

Expect a performance or two on the night, with top-notch refreshments to accompany this inclusive exhibition.  (Sam is also partnering with City Sanctuary to facilitate a donation for their vital pest control work in and around Dunedin city).

Numbers are strictly limited to the opening event on Friday the 5th of September, with SOME TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE !
